Bob Ashby

 My current art work spans several areas of interest, Nature, landscape, portrait and Fine Art Photography along with Astronomical Digital Art and Fractals.  I have been studying and working with digital art since 1990.  I use a number of computer applications both commercial and custom designed to create the surreal worlds that make up my work.  

 As a photographer, I have worked primarily with in the realm of portraiture, and landscape/nature photography.  I have produced large portraits and landscapes for clients across the Northwest and Southwest United States. Using modern technology to print photographs on canvas and repair older prints.  In the area of landscape photography I use the unique medium of black and white Infra Red that creates a ethereal scene.  Recently I have added the techniques of digital hand painting to create a museum quality piece of art.  These hand painted photographs are primarily wildlife photographs of wolves.  My art work has been shown in the following venues:
