Dan Maxwell
My name is Dan Maxwell. I am twenty-five years old and was born and raised in the Buckley-Enumclaw area. I graduated from White River High School in 2001 and then attended Green River Comm. College for two years after that. I found my talent and love of working with clay while attending Green River and have been working with it ever since. Most of the exposure that my pottery work has received has been through church auctions and fundraisers, a Rocky Mountain Elk foundation fundraiser, the Green River Artists Gallery, and now in the Arts Alive Gallery. I work as a carpenter by necessity and am also a volunteer firefighter in Buckley. Like many Pacific North Westerners I am crazy about the outdoors and spend as much of my time as I can fishing, hiking, camping, hunting and of course, snowboarding. I also love to travel and try to mix my travel with my other hobbies, like fishing, as much as possible. Included is a picture of me fishing while on a trip to Cabo San Lucas in 2007. ![]() ![]()
