Photography has been a hobby and passion of ours for over ten years. During that time we were members of 6 different Camera Clubs and various slide study groups. We held different office positions in those clubs and also had the honor of providing photographic documentation for the State of Idaho’s Historic Society. We are current members of the Photographic Society of America (PSA), National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) and the Canadian Association for Photographic Art (CAPA). | |

Over the years, we have been accepted in local, regional, international competitions and juried art shows often competing against each other. In all, our images have won numerous ribbons and trophies including President’s, Best of Show, People’s Choice, Top Monochrome Image Makers, Best Slide and Best Print Awards. We’ve also placed in the top 10 for Best of the Northwest and in the Top 5 for Slide and Print Production. Several of our images have been published. Most recently we were chosen to do local one-man gallery shows. We try to take several photographic expeditions each year to help expand our stock library. On a recent trip to the desert southwest we captured over 17,000 digital images. At present, we are working on photographic related magazine articles, digital projected image productions and gallery presentations. Photography is a great endeavor; immensely exhilarating and rewarding for us. We thoroughly enjoy photographing all facets of light. Our knowledge of photography has grown exponentially through field experience with other photographers, through printed material and seminars taught by the likes of Andre Gallant, Darrel |

Gulin, George Lepp, Galen Rowell, John Shaw, Vincent Versace, Nevada Weir and Art Wolfe to name but a few. All this has helped us cultivate our own photographic styles. We develop the images in our digital darkrooms and as “Strange Images”; we create works we classify as expressionistic fine art photography. We also produce photographs that document people, places, time and events. These labors of love provide great enjoyment for us and hopefully others will somehow feel the emotion, appreciate the artistic quality, acquire knowledge and/or be culturally enlightened by seeing the world through our eyes.
