Sallie A. Zydek Sallie A. Zydek - Wildlife Specialist Sallie Zydek draws and paints only wildlife art. She creates intricately detailed images of animals by drawing , or 'etching', in scratchboard, or by stippling with ink onto the scratchboard. With her techniques, she captures nature's textures, from the flow of downy fur to glistening eyes, sinuous rainforest vines to barren frozen fields. While she prefers to work in these black and white mediums, her works also include many brightly painted acrylics. Sallie has designed State and Federal signs, seals and symbols; book covers; and has been featured in Wildlife Art News (currently Wildlife Art magazine). She is a member of the Worldwide Nature Artists Group |
