![]() ![]() Layne M. Kocina of Kocina Creations
Layne was born in 1955 and raised in Minnesota. Layne learned his initial welding skills in the United States Navy. He has worked within the welding industry for over thirty years. Currently, Layne is working as a welder, fabricator, and machinist at Parker Pacific Inc, located in Buckley. He raised his two children in Redwing, Minnesota. In the summer of 1996, Layne moved to Enumclaw. Layne and his wife, Michelle, wed in December making a beautiful bended family. Lanye and Michelle together have four children. Jut, Tiffany, Christian and Brittney. In addition, three joyful grandchildren, Naomi, Nevach, and Gage. His mother and stepfather also live here in Enumclaw. Creating steel art has been a love of Layne’s for many years. For a while now Layne has been making his pieces for the sheer love of it and to give joy to special family and friends. The opportunity has now finally arrived to showcase Layne’s skill and talent, locally, at the Arts Alive! Gallery. Which has brought wonderful opportunities and for this Layne is very thankful. Layne will be retiring in this community and is looking forward to working with you, creating anything you want or need. Custom orders or replications of anything in his portfolio. Layne can work off a napkin used as blueprint or “chicken scratch”, a conversation, whatever works best. All of Layne’s work is custom designed There is something for everyone.
