We are fortunate to have Helena Poortvliet instructing a class at the gallery. Helena was born and raised in Western Washington and brings a lifetime of painting and horse experience and traveling to share with her students.

            • Studied with Bill Rades and Hal Buckner at Pierce College.

            • Studied with Walt Tomsic at PLU

            • Earned BFA and Teaching Certificate at PLU

            • Owned Arts Unique Gallery and Artique Interiors

Classes start April 16^th, Wednesday

10 am to 3 pm – Come for 1 hour or more

Cost is $8.00 per hour per student

Classes will consist of color theory and design

elements as they apply to landscapes in Acrylic

on canvas. Also incorporating figures and/or

animals in the landscape.
