Anitra Simmons

Born in Burien, WA, Anitra has lived in Enumclaw for the past 8 years.

She is the author of two books currently available on Amazon and has been a Mixed Media artist for the past 8 years.  Her drawings/paintings were featured at the Gallery Mack and Gray Sky Gallery in Seattle.

She has been featured on two separate podcasts.

Her art mostly combines watercolor with ink and ranges from portraits to landscapes.  Her work is inspired by the loss of her husband and daughter to cancer and was a starting point to work through grief.  

She also creates many digital pieces as well.  She creates out of love and joy of art and frequently tries different categories from which to inspire her works.
