Darlene Silliman
Darlene Silliman has loved art her whole life. She grew up in Nepal and India and learned to garden at age 6 out of necessity when her family moved to a remote valley in Nepal and had to grow most of their own food. She helped her mom and siblings with the vegetables but really loved the flowers. She now does the same thing in Enumclaw WA. She loves to preserve her garden flowers by drying and pressing them and using them for art projects. She loves using Nepali Lokta paper as the background for her creations and petal infused paper envelopes.
Darlene is a board member, volunteer coordinator and works in the gallery at Arts Alive.
